About Me

My photo
Nathan Zamprogno
Sydney, Australia
This personal blog is a venue for irregular musings on whatever takes my interest. I am a what I describe as a patriotic optimist. I value tradition, and I defend the legacy of Western Civilisation as opposed to other worldviews. Like Thucydides, I declare that those among us who take no interest in politics aren't minding their business, but rather are shirking a key responsibility of citizenship. Thus, I am an elected Councillor on Hawkesbury City Council. This website shouldn't be confused with my output as a politician. In addition to Politics, I have a passion for Science, Public Speaking, and the Theatre. Recurring topics that come up in my posts involve the intersection between science and faith, and between faith and politics. My undergraduate degree was in History, Philosophy and politics. My Masters was in education and my thesis focus was Ethics education. I regularly baffle my friends with my surreal Gedankenexperiments.
